Join us for a practical, hands-on workshop that will show you how to take confident headshots and great event photos, and put together strong, consistent content using your smartphone. Taking place at The Courtyard Exeter Sandy Park, this morning session has been created by Becky Craven, a South West-based professional photographer and visual marketing strategist who’s been helping businesses create better content since 2006.
And, as it’s a Samphire event, there’ll also be plenty of opportunity for networking – catching up with friends, making new connections and enjoying some great conversations.

Your events and networking moments are brilliant content if you know how to photograph them. We`ll look at:
How to photograph people in a room without it looking awkward
Group shots that everyone actually shares
Grabbing behind-the-scenes content that tells your brand story
Practical activity: photograph the room, the people, the morning using what`s right in front of us.
11–11.30am Editing, Posting & What To Do With It All
Quick, easy editing on your phone so your photos look polished without hours of effort. We`ll cover:
The best free apps (and which ones to ignore)
Resizing and cropping for different platforms
Turning one photo into a week`s worth of content
11.30am–12noon Q&A, Final Tips
Open floor for questions, a few quick wins to take away, and how to keep improving after today.
